Animal Crossing fans have been waiting a long time for a new game and now Nintendo have announced Animal Crossing Pocket Camp! While it’s not a full game, it’s the first one for phones so you can play on the go without carrying an extra device.
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp will be familiar to anyone who’s played the previous games, especially New Leaf. This time you’re in charge of a campsite and can add features, decorate interiors, hang out with the animal visitors or just go fishing and catch bugs. Instead of a house, you get a camper van to live in and there are some new characters to help you customise it.
The game has already been released in Australia and early reviews seem to agree that it’s cute and fun for every day but simpler and easier than a full game. Since it’s on your phone, it will be easy to pop in throughout the day and see what’s happening, rather than getting sucked into hours of furniture arranging and errand-running. Well, hopefully!
Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is free to download and will be available for iPhone and Android everywhere in November. You can find out more at the official website and sign up to be notified when it’s available in your region.
Are you looking forward to playing Animal Crossing Pocket Camp? Any Australians want to let us know your thoughts?
