A few weeks ago, I stumbled upon the work of Covetables at a market in Glasgow. I was most taken with an owl I could see for most of the day from my own stall and when I got a chance to venture over, I found all sorts of cute toys on offer! Check these out:
These chicken cushions are perfect for squishing on a winter’s night and are handsewn by the lady behind Covetables (who is also very nice!).
You can even make your own plush pal if the notion takes you with these make-your-own kits! A steal at £3.99.
And my personal favourite – the pirate cat! They are just the right mix of cute and scary pirate and I particularly like his anchor mouth.
There’s plenty more cuteness at the Covetables Etsy shop, so go have a look now!

I totally agree about the adorable cuteness factor – it is especially tricky to figure which is lovelier, Mrs Covetables or her creations! And do check out her felted mermaids and fairies too!
