Here’s our review of the Summer Pusheen Box with a Sweet Treats theme of patisserie-themed exclusives. Full spoilers ahead if yours hasn’t arrived yet.
The box has a chocolate design with a cake slice on top, and matches the vinyl figure which is holding a roll cake. While not super-exciting, I do personally prefer these simpler designs and will look forward to rearranging my collection to include it.
This had me expecting a lot of brown inside but cream is the main colour with hints of pink and a lighter brown. There were 7 items in the Summer 2025 Pusheen Box – sweater, phone holder, wristlet, compact mirror, bandana, plush and vinyl figure. Let’s have a closer look at everything.
Macarons Sweater
I was surprised to see a sweater for summer, especially with the usual cosy fuzzy lining. Even in Scotland, it’s been so hot this year that I could only keep it on for a few moments to check the fit. I do really like the design, though I’m not sure I can be trusted with a cream sweater, especially not while eating cake.
It seems a little closer fitting than previous sweaters so those have been great for lounging at home, but I’d be more likely to wear this one out. Only on a chilly evening though. Since the last 4 boxes have all had hoodies or sweaters, I’m hoping this means we get a Halloween t-shirt next time!
Wristlet Pouch
This didn’t immediately look like much but it’s a really high quality item. It’s made of a leather-effect material with a nice bright print and has loads of pockets. There’s a zip pocket on the back and lots inside for credit cards and all your bits and pieces, plus a removable wristlet strap.
If you’re someone who has to carry a lot of stuff every day, this would definitely help you stay organised in a cute way. If not, I think it would be so useful for travel to keep your passport, travel docs, currency etc. all safe together,
Phone Holder
This certainly got my attention! I’ve been looking at this kind of phone holder for taking blog and shop photos/videos but hadn’t bought one yet so I’m delighted. It’s exactly what I need and super cute in pink with a Pusheen cake.
It folds up flat to fit in a bag or pocket and extends to a good height with adjustable angles. It also keeps your phone safely in place with a textured back and holders. It should be good for everything from filming your hands from above to talking to camera, as well as a stand for watching videos. My only small complaint is that I have to remove my phone case as it has a ring holder attached.
Exclusive Mini Plush
Since last year, every box now has an exclusive plush and the latest one is a white and pink Pusheen holding a cake with a strawberry on top.
It’s a good size and very sweet but it would have been nice to have a more unique design, like the Pusheen inside a cake on the wristlet & phone holder (there’s one like this in the Pusheen Shop. I loved the bread and peach-shaped Pusheens last year and would much rather that they’re included less often if it means getting something more exciting.
Final Thoughts
Overall, this was a cute theme but didn’t feel very summery, especially with a sweater. The other items were the compact mirror above and the silky pink bandana that you can see as a background in many of the photos. I love the phone holder and the bandana will be useful as a photo background. The sweater and wristlet are also good quality useful items but it does all feel a bit more generic than we’re used to. I still think it’s good value if you like the theme.
