Need some cute new t-shirts for the warmer weather? Ditch the big brands and support these kawaii artists instead.

I’ve long been a fan of the colourful sand art of Naoshi (US) and now you can get them on t-shirts too, thanks to a collab with Popkiller. The recent tarot designs have so much detail and there’s also some classic food and animal art. Sizes XS-XXL + kids
Katnipp (UK) has sadly closed her studio but still has print-on-demand apparel and digital products available. This sweet Bumblebutt tee is a lovely reminder to ‘bee kind to yourself’ and there’s also lots of Autumn & Halloween designs for later in the year. Sizes XS-2XL

If you’re on a tight budget, Hot Topic (US) has been licensing designs from kawaii artists. They may not have the same kind of high quality or extended sizes but you’re still supporting the artist and encouraging Hot Topic to add more. You’ll need to dig around the website (or visit in person) but searching kawaii tees brings up some good ones including Rainylune‘s fun frogs and Sugarhai, while they’ve also worked with Sugar Bunny Shop and Tasty Peach Studios. Sizes S-2XL
