Hatchling Makes is the shop of UK-based wildlife artist Natasha Hatcher, who creates enamel pins and stationery inspired by endangered and unusual animals.

I was reminded of Hatchling Makes while researching eco-friendly brands and thought they deserved a full feature. It’s easy to find products featuring popular animals like cats and bunnies but if your favourite animal is something less cute or well-known, you’re probably out of luck. Not at Hatchling Makes though, where there’s a new enamel pin every month with recent animals including the Eurasian River Otter, Australian White Ibis, Okapi and striped pyjama squid. There’s some slightly more familiar friends too like a puffin, narwhal and polar bear, plus a few different birds, butterflies and marine life.

There’s more in the shop too including washi tape, vinyl stickers, sticker books, patches, keyrings and bookmarks. Recycled materials are used whenever possible and 10% from every sale is donated to wildlife conservation with a new organisation chosen every month. What better excuse to shop?
Hatchling Makes ships to most countries from the UK and you can also follow @hatchlingmakes on Instagram.
