Winter seems to be lasting forever here in the UK, so here are some cute events to look forward to in February.
On the 8th, Fancy Ferni is coming all the way from Florida to host a decoden workshop in Brighton! You can choose which item you’d like to decorate in advance.
Omg Moru Garden’s Love and Luck Fest will be at the Leeds Corn Exchange from the 13th-15th. It’s a market celebrating both Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day, complete with photo opportunities, activities and workshops.
As well as their magazine, Chiffon Magazine is also known for their regular events, usually in London. Their next event is a sweets deco workshop at Mori Homemade Cafe on the 27th. You can decorate a dessert themed phone case, and they even have handmade charms! Kai of nomkakaii also hosts a regular drawing club there.
There’s another Nitecawr rave coming up! This time the theme is Kandyland so expect plenty of decora style and kandi, as well as super high energy music! It’s in London on the 27th.
Miffy’s 70th Birthday exhibition is at the Time and Tide Museum in Norfolk until 1st March. I got the chance to see this when it was in Leeds last year, and it’s definitely worth going!
Feel Happy Official has a pop up store in Camden (London) until 7th March. You can find items from guest artists based in the UK and Japan. They also have permanent stores in Tokyo and Ireland.
The Pokémon x Natural History Museum pop-up shop experience is now open in London until April. Tickets are completely sold out but you can look out for returns. Everything is also available in the online shop.
