It’s February, which means it’s time to share the love with those you hold closest, whether that be your partner, bestie or your work wife. Dessert is my favourite way to do this, so here are a few recipes that I’ve been collecting.
Baymax is all about caring for others, so show that you care with these pretty patchwork Baymax cookies from rinaのディズニーvlog (Rina’s Disney Vlog). The subtitles are in Japanese, but the video gives the recipe step by step.

Were you the sort of person that liked to make mixtapes for your crush? Why not make them edible instead with these Valentine’s Mixtape Cookies from Constellation Inspiration! Add their favourite artist in icing or a message just for them and tuck them inside a case.

The chocolate cheesecake pie from Pies and Tacos looks elegant and like you picked it up from a fancy patisserie. Just add some seasonal chocolates and fruit of your choice and the decoration is complete.
If heart-shaped macarons seem a little tricky to create, you could make these from Process Kingdom that have a regular spherical shape, but with a heart design. You can then write little words on the hearts to send messages to those you’re gifting them to.

My friends LOVE it when I bake brownies so I can definitely see them being happy with this big brownie style cake from Jane’s Patisserie, especially as it’s filled with chocolate chips and Nutella. The fruit on top is the perfect addition, as it will definitely cut through the sweetness of the brownie, plus it works well with the seasonal colours of red and pink.

I love The Little Blog of Vegan’s use of Jammie Dodgers as decoration for these mini vegan cheesecakes as they have little heart shapes in their centre, which are perfect for Valentine’s Day. The cheesecakes are rippled with raspberry jam and sprinkled with freeze-dried raspberries too, so I imagine they’ll taste just as good as they look.
If you really want to make something special, then this over-the-top extravagantly piped cake from Cupcake Jemma could be what you need. It literally screams Valentine’s Day…

Add love notes, Valentine fortunes, or fun messages inside these fortune cookies from Wilton and pass them out to your nearest and dearest. A creative, and delicious, way to send your Valentine.

For something not overtly Valentine themed, these sprinkle cookies from Bites By Bianca are seasonal without being too full of hearts and flowers. These would be perfect to share for Galentine’s Day or to gift to your friendship group.
