Our Kawaii Shop of the Week features are back starting with Whatever! Makes You Happy, a new kawaii brand creating both original designs and character collabs for bags, jewellery, accessories, and blind boxes.
With the world how it is, I’m always delighted to see new shops opening that are all about joy and happiness. Whatever! Makes You Happy definitely live up to their name and you can tell the founders have previously worked with Loungefly and Hot Topic as their colourful bags and accessories have the same high quality with fun, clever and useful features to make everyday life so much cuter. I especially love their Chibi Godzilla collection with a reversible AND convertible crossbody bag, padded tote bag, retro wallet and lots of blind box charms.
Their original designs are bang on trend with the perfect Emotional Support Trinket Tote Bag that has multiple clear pockets and D-rings to show off all your favourite charms and plush. The character collabs are amazing too with all-exclusive collections featuring Miffy, Peanuts, Strawberry Shortcake, Rainbow Brite, Kewpie and more. I can’t wait to see who they team up with next.
