Earlier this month, I attended my first-ever indoor arena concert for one of my favorite K-Pop girl groups, TWICE! If you’re looking for ideas on what to pack for your K-Pop concert bag when you watch your faves, here’s a peek into my essentials (which are mostly in pink) as well as some similar shopping picks.

I wanted to keep my things safe in a cute carry, so I used my anti-theft saddle crossbody from Pacsafe (US). My family gifted this for me last Christmas, and I like how the hue is kind of a combination of TWICE’s official colors. Accessorize your bag by trying these ideas:
- Add one or more of your favorite keychains (spot my Maybelline milk tea plush!)
- Use cute photocard holders to show off your biases (and bias wreckers)
- Decorate an alcohol spray bottle with stickers and hang it for easy access

Some venues do require transparent bags, and you can find several stadium-ready clear bags on Etsy that you can even have customized such as this clear belt bag from Stella & James (US).

While waiting to enter the arena, you might go snacking to fuel up for the show. Not all venues have food kiosks that accept cards or online payment though, so it’s still ideal to carry some cash and loose change. Truffle Shuffle (UK) has an adorable EU-exclusive velvet bow snap wallet from Loungefly featuring kawaii feline icon Marie from The Aristocats.

I used a multi-pouch passport case to safekeep both my ID and concert tickets for easier access during ticket verification. Some fans also like to give away freebies like stickers before the concert, and you can also put them here. Whether it’s for travel or other events, these kinds of organizers are always handy. You can find ones like this gorgeous quilted Hello Kitty multi pocket case complete with a frilled trim and a small charm, care of ARTBOX (UK).

It’s always best to have a makeup or sanitary kit for quick retouches or powder room trips. ffleurfleurr’s (TH) sweet pink terry pouch can hold small cosmetics & toiletries, and is available in hues like hot pink & baby pink. Or DIY your own pouch!

Most venues don’t allow handheld photography equipment, so your next best bet is to bring a smartphone with a good camera. You can cute yours up with a colored metallic world Bounce case from CASETIFY (global) and a glittery moon and crystal pink star phone charm from Reuerie (US). Aside from hanging as many charms as you want, you could use a clear phone case and customize the background yourself. I did mine with a glittery pink sheet and a cheeky Kuromi B-Side Label sticker.

And of course, it’s a must to keep your phone charged since you’ll likely be spending an entire day traveling to and from the venue, waiting & prepping for the event, and attending the actual concert. iWALK has several types of small portable chargers with a range of battery capacities depending on your needs, such as this pink charger on Amazon (US/UK).

Lastly, I got myself a fan-made lightstick similar to the first version of TWICE’s Candy Bong (which is also my favorite version) since I wasn’t able to get the official one. But if you have the time and budget, you can order official lightsticks of your favorite artists from websites like KPOPTOWN (KR) or COKODIVE (KR). Remember that lightsticks aren’t required when attending a K-Pop concert, though: the main reason you’re there is to experience the music and support your idols by cheering them on!
And if you can’t get enough of your idols, why not have a pre-concert K-Pop party with friends and add your bag prep to your list of activities?
