Kawaii Links Roundup

Did you know we have a free weekly newsletter? You also get a monthly roundup of cute links and videos we’ve saved including character cafes, collabs, crafts and Japan. We’re also sharing the links section here on the blog, though subscribers will still get them first, plus lots of videos too.

kawaii websites
  • There’s been lots of good news for Londoners (and visitors) including a new Miffy shop in Carnaby Street (open now until at least Spring 26), a Nintendo POP-UP STORE at Westfield (Oct 22nd – Nov 16th) and a Pokémon pop-up store at the Natural History Museum (Jan 26th – Mar 22nd 2026). Free tickets are required for that last one so get signed up if you want the exclusive merch.
  • If you’re in Japan, Tokyo Weekender has a roundup of Japan’s Best Theme Park Halloween Events. We had an amazing time at USJ back in 2019 – here’s our post with all the spooky cute Sanrio decorations.
  • There’s a new San-X Music website which has music videos and dances featuring San-X characters. San-X are also sharing illustrations from The People Behind San-X on Instagram, highlighting common experiences of their staff. The first one is very cute!
  • Love Pokemon and cross stitch? The X-Stitch Pokédex Project has free patterns for pretty much every character, and some pretty terrarium designs too.
  • You’d think Daiso would already have an official mascot, but better late than never. Learn all about Daizo, a kawaii elephant whose only hobby is “a trip that doubles as a DAISO patrol”. Maybe you should patrol the crafts aisle more, Daizo. There’s also merch of course.
  • Tokyoscope has an article on the 20th anniversary of Ai Yazawa’s NANA manga and recent movie screenings and I’m going to have to dig out the DVDs soon.
  • Kiriki Press has a new set of Costume Cats embroidery kits that are initially only available this weekend, with a wider release after Halloween. They’re all amazing.
  • TokyoTreat’s online store JapanHaul has a new website and you can get up 30% off for a limited time, including Japanese snacks, character merch, lucky bags and advent calendars.
  • Kuromi is Friend of the Month at Sanrio – download your free printable calendar and look out for some special content on their YouTube and socials.
  • It’s a new month in Animal Crossing Pocket Camp Complete and if you’re stuck for inspiration for the current themes, have a look at our posts with custom designs for Autumn & Halloween. I also shared my camper card on my own blog if you want me to turn up in your game. Most of the SCK team play so I can share all of us here next month if you want?
  • New to our blog or not checked in for a while? The Best of Super Cute Kawaii is updated every month and collects our top posts including the most popular, our own favourites and original guides & DIYs.

This may be the sweetest ad ever! I already own a big Rilakkuma plush that I treat as a roommate and I still wanted to buy this one.

Read the full newsletter for 6 more fun videos and you can read all our previous issues there too. If you’re not subscribed, pop your email in the box below to get the next one in your inbox early next month.
