Autumn/Fall is technically upon us, which means it’ll soon be time for cosying up with a hot drink on a cold evening. Here are a few tasty looking autumnal recipes, or if you’d prefer something easier, some products to buy with seasonal flavours.

This Hot Apple Pie Punch from BBC Good Food is the perfect way to enjoy apple juice on a cold day. This recipe even adds some vanilla ice cream as you would to a normal apple pie, but this time as a way to add some flavour and a creamy, frothy top.

If you’re looking for something a bit stronger, then an apple brandy hot toddy from Tipsy Chickens might be perfect. It has a base of chai, which is already spiced, so everything would work together to make a super warming drink.

Golden milk or turmeric milk has been drunk for years in India, but this slightly updated recipe from Tea for Turmeric includes spices for warmth. Plus, the colour couldn’t get more autumnal!

If you enjoy a hot chocolate then these pumpkin-shaped and flavoured marshmallows from Spruce Eats would be a lovely addition. They look good floating on top but would also add some seasonal flavour to the chocolate.

If making the marshmallows seems like a bit too much work then you can ‘pumpkin spice’ your hot chocolate with this recipe from hot chocolate makers Knoops. It can be made vegan by using plant-based milk too. (Their specific hot chocolate can be purchased from the site – UK)

Chestnut is a popular ingredient during autumn and these tea bags from Karel Čapek blend chestnut with black tea for a seasonal tea time. Check out all the Autumn/Winter flavours at Rainbowholic Shop (JP).

Bird & Blend (UK) have a tea collaboration with Hello Kitty and it is perfectly pink, which initially doesn’t seem very autumnal. However, it’s apple flavoured which is classic for both Hello Kitty and the season. There’s more Autumn Blends available too.

If you’re more of a coffee drinker then Little’s (UK) might be the place to go. They have a selection of flavoured instant coffee including Maple Walnut, Pumpkin Spice, Gingerbread Cookie and Cardamom Bun, which can be used straight up or as a base for a flavourful mocha.
