The news may be making you feel powerless and unsure how best to help the people of Ukraine, especially if you don’t have much money to spare. One small way you can support the artist community and other kawaii fans and makers is by ordering some digital downloads and craft patterns from Etsy sellers in Ukraine. Etsy will handle the download automatically so the seller gets money directly without having to ship anything and as a bonus you get something cute to make. Here’s 10 shops in Ukraine I’ve spotted, and check the end for more links.
We don’t include the location of digital downloads in SCK posts but I’ve long noticed that there are many cute crochet designers in Ukraine so we’ll start there. We’ve featured JuliHMtoys before and they have a lot of cute designs including food, drink and animals. I love these little honey bees.
BlueRabbitToys have something for everyone with a mix of animals, holiday themes and spooky monsters. These spirits of the apple tree are too cute and the perfect thing to work on until winter is over.
If you’re more of a sewist, MiniMiFeltThings has lots of felt sewing projects that include video tutorials along with the pattern. These woodland animals can be turned into brooches or bag charms and there’s also food and flower versions plus headbands, bags and ornaments.
We’ve featured TSminibears before and their toys have so much personality. I’m in love with the hammerhead shark but there’s unicorns, dinosaurs and all kinds of animals. These are definitely not for beginners but most patterns do include video tutorials too.
Personally, I’ve ordered some embroidery patterns from VividStitchShop to add to my planned hoop art gallery. There’s lots of different botanical designs, and some snowflakes too, and they are all so pretty.
If you prefer cross stitch, SoEasyPattern has loads of colourful borders to choose from, ready to add your own text inside. There’s plenty options for a full design too with snarky quips and quotes (some are NSFW), plus landscapes, holiday samplers and more.
If you like a detailed pattern to keep you busy for a while, head to EmbroDIY. There’s a wide range of themes including nature, cities and the zodiac, plus a whole lot of bugs and insects.
If you’re not so crafty, you can still pick up some printables. PrintableVanilkaArt is one for cottagecore fans and there’s lots of home and nature themes as stickers or prints.
Digital papers are always useful for journaling, paper crafts and gift wrapping, and PinskaDrawCute has a nice selection of patterns including food, nature and holidays.

Etsy’s search filter is not set up well for digital downloads so here’s some direct links to browse. Many Ukraine-based sellers also sell products that require shipping so check it’s a digital product you’re buying – or send a message with your order telling them you’re happy to wait.
You can try other search terms too, and just use the All Filters button at the top to change the Shop Location to Custom > Ukraine. Feel free to add a comment below with other cute shops you’ve discovered.
PS. For extra support, share your purchase and finished project on social media and/or leave a 5 star review to help boost the shop in Etsy search. Anything under 5 stars is now considered a negative review by Etsy so do be kind.
