Cute Sloth Crafts

I’ve always loved sloths, but I’ve recently seen some adorable video clips and photos that have made me love them even more! So I thought I’d celebrate my new obsession by rounding up some sloth crafts to make.

The sloth room décor tutorial by Séverine Jenny DIY covers several different cute projects that you can do with common items that you may already own, or are inexpensive to buy if you don’t. The video is in French, but the DIYs are shot in a detailed way so that you can still understand how to do everything if you don’t speak the language.

If you want to add your love of sloths to your everyday planning or journaling, Draw So Cute has a great video on how to draw a kawaii sloth! It would be so adorable paired with tropical or jungle themed washi and stickers.

Creative Rachy also has a great video that shows you how to make a polymer clay sloth charm. It’s a simple design so that it won’t take much time to make and would also be great for those just learning to work with clay.

Cute Sloth Crafts - amigurumi crochet pattern

There are plenty of cute DIY kits and patterns to find for sloths too. The Olya Usolya Amigurumi shop has a baby sloth crochet pattern that’s so cute I actually squealed when I saw it!

Cute Sloth paper crafts

For those that prefer papercrafts, Not Just Paper Boutique has a sloth shadowbox digital papercutting template kit that would make for amazing wall décor! I love shadowbox projects so I’m highly tempted to try this one out.

Cute Sloth Crafts - cross stitch pattern

There are some really cute needle craft patterns to browse through as well on Etsy. My personal favorite is this ‘hanging in there’ cross stitch pattern by Fuzzy Fox Designs. It’s cute and quite aptly describes life for most of us at the moment!

I have such a felt stash going that I really ought to be looking for more felt projects to do; I’m very much adding Binc Bonc’s DIY felt hanging sloth bag charm to my to-do list! It’s shown as a bag charm, but of course you can easily just omit the jewelry and make it a mini plush.

Which of these will you be trying out? Let us know in the comments and check out more kawaii animal makes (including some featuring sloths!) in the DIY Crafts section.

I love sloths! While I’m not likely to craft much this week, I do love to see what other people have created. :)
