I’m a firm believer that you can never have too many projects when it comes to Halloween, and that’s partially because there’s such a wide variety of DIYs to choose from! I have a list of crafts to make before Halloween that seems to keep growing faster than I can check them off thanks to this…either way, here are a few cute finds to make before October 31.
Sometimes it can be a struggle finding cute treat bags but look no further—CutEasy DIY has a tutorial on how to make Sanrio character treat bags that work great for trick-or-treating or treat bags for a not-so-spooky Halloween party. They’re very simple so they work great as a last-minute craft.
New to sewing? Mollie over at Wild Olive has a great tutorial for beginners that teaches you how to sew a friendly ghost plush (and some animal ghosts as well!) using felt. It’s very minimal in the supplies department, so it’s an option that’s quick, easy, and inexpensive.
Chelsey DIY has a lot to offer as far as DIY squishy videos are concerned, but her tutorial on how to make a package of squishy candy corn is definitely one of my all time favorites for the originality!
I can’t finish this post without offering something for all my fellow clay junkies out there: This Charming Stuff has a tutorial that shows you how to make a cute bat brooch out of polymer clay and a bit of felt. This is yet another simple option for you’re looking for something to make that’s not too time consuming.
There’s also plenty more DIY options to check out in our Halloween Crafts section, and look out for a brand new, original tutorial for Halloween as well!
