It will be Easter before you know it, but the good news is you still have time to fit in a few crafts for the holiday! Here are my favorite free patterns and DIYs that I’ve found this year. Most of them are simple, so they will also work well if you find yourself in a time crunch right before Easter.
Flamingo Toes has a tutorial on how to make a sweet mixed media Easter bunny mason jar that caught my eye. This would make such a cute centerpiece for Easter dinner, but it could also double up as a desk decoration all season long!
If you’re looking for ideas to add to your Easter baskets or gifts, the same blog also has a post showing you how to sew roly poly fabric Easter bunnies. It doesn’t require many supplies and works well for a quick sewing project.
Another simple sewing project is the tiny felt bunny pocket critter by Swoodson Says. These could be made in a rainbow of colors and would be cute tucked into a pocket or turned into a brooch. There are also other adorable animal patterns to go with the bunny, which you can purchase.
Enjoy amigurumi? All About Ami has the perfect spring bunny crochet plush pattern to make for yourself or to give as a gift for the occasion. I really love how you can customize the plush, including the ears. I fully support more lop-eared bunny representation!
The origami bunny by Paper Kawaii could be used to spruce up your dinner table in a festive way without too much fuss. Just make several in different pastel colors and place them about.
And if you missed it, there is also SCK’s own Easter Bunny pencil case tutorial from last year that would make a cute addition to an Easter basket as well!
