Thanksgiving is fast approaching for those of us in the USA, so that means time for great company and great food. And crafting of course! If you’re looking for alternative ways to enjoy turkey, look no further than this list of my favorite craft DIYs for the holiday.
Since now is the ideal time to year to curl up with a blanket and do a bit of reading, why not try making Red Ted Art’s turkey bookmark? It’s an easy paper craft, and one can never have too many bookmarks.
If you’re more for baking, KawaiiSweetWorld has an adorable video on how to make turkey cupcakes. They don’t require many supplies, are a good option for baking beginners, and would make a great dessert substitute if you’re not much for traditional pies.
A free printable option is Wild Olive’s turkey table favors. These would make a cute addition to any Thanksgiving dinner, I think! They could be used for treats for your guests, and even something like a sweet note about why you’re thankful for that person.
A cute charm made into a bracelet or necklace adds extra flair to celebrate the day with, and aCupofCakeTV’s polymer clay kawaii turkey should fit the bill splendidly.
Too much turkey? DrawSoCute has a tutorial on how to draw a kawaii pumpkin pie slice. It would be a cute doodle to color in, or use in your planner to mark the holiday!
Let us know which of these are your personal favorite! If you decide to celebrate Thanksgiving with any of these projects, do feel free to post a photo and tag us in it; we’d love to see your works!
