Chelsey DIY is a channel I recently discovered that covers a wide range of kawaii tutorials, so it’s easy to find a cute project no matter what skill level you’re at, or what craft you enjoy. There are sewing, clay, squishy and even slime videos to browse through, but here are some of my top picks!
If you want to get into the Halloween spirit, her newest tutorial teaches you how to make a really cute pumpkin plush! I think it would be an adorable idea to make several and customize them with different expressions.
Do you like to make or collect squishies? The Sumikko Gurashi Ebi Fry squishy is one of the cutest squishy DIYs I’ve seen lately. I have yet to make one, just because it seems a bit messy, but I’m tempted to try this one out!
Admittedly I’m in a bit of a Sumikko Gurashi phase right now, so her tapioca keychain DIY caught my eye. It works well as a quick and simple project if you’re new to clay!
Her bubble tea iron patches are an easy embroidery craft that works as a really cute way to spruce up a shirt, jacket, cap, or bag. If you’re not into patches, you could also easily turn it into a pin.
This cactus phone case is an adorable way to customize your phone! It’s a fast process from start to finish. The base is also made from a foam sheet, making this a very inexpensive project.
You can check out the rest of her cute DIYs on her channel, and comment below with your favorite!
Andi lives in the countryside of Georgia in a house packed with kawaii decor and vintage toys, and enjoys the company of two squishy kitties named Thumper and Marie. When she’s not barricaded in her pink craft room creating something, she can be found reading, playing Animal Crossing games, or baking something to satisfy her massive sweet tooth.
