July is International Zine Month– a month of zine related activities. If you are not in the know, zines are basically self published small magazines that range in size and topics. There is really something for everyone. I have picked out a few kawaii zines to get you started if you are new to zines, or maybe you caught zine-fever ages ago and would like to add these to your collection.
Cute food may be super time consuming to make but it sure is fun to look at. Harajuku Dollhouse’s mini Tokyo Sweets Diary is full of cute food photos to make your sweet tooth swoon.
Girls Who Draw Postcard Book – Marine Life is full of super cute illustrations by twelve different female illustrators from around the UK. Bel’s Art World has a lot of cute paper goods too.
Mel Stringer‘s Girl Glue #2 is full of crafty gal inspiration. Some of my favorite kawaii artists are in here including Gemma Correll and Twinkie Chan.
Hara and Juku Girls are two zines by Kavon Illustration that showcase all that Japanese street fashion has to offer.
Also check out my Etsy shop and Marceline’s Asking For Trouble store for more cute zines for your reading pleasure!
