Let’s have a look at what’s happening at Japanese kawaii brand San-X for February. There’s new themes for Sumikko Gurashi, Cheer Cheer Lambs and Sentimental Circus, plus a Rilakkuma x Chupa Chups collab. Shopping links and info is at the end of the post and some of the collections also have free wallpapers.
Sumikko Gurashi are always making new friends and this time they’ve found the Raccoon’s Round Restaurant in the forest! Apparently the homemade dishes are so delicious that the Sumikkos stuffed themselves so full they turned round.

There are some cute items featuring the raccoon, as well as round and squishy plush of all the Sumikkos. There’s even sticky note pads with a squishy cover. You’ll also find some fun tableware and lots of stationery and bags, including two-way drawstring pouches.
The Cheer Cheer Lambs are back to boost our cheer power and make us smile. Let’s go! Shake it! Cheer up! is sure to keep us all motivated during the dreary part of the year so let them give you a boost.

There’s a few different sizes of plush for both the main characters, Ramu & Uryufu, all dressed up with bows and pompoms. All the stationery has fun features too, like glitter-filled stickers, fluffy pom pom charm pouches and multi-design memo pads to share with friends.

Sentimental Circus often have darker gothic themes but On a night of warm bubbles is more traditionally kawaii with pastel colours for a relaxing bathtime theme. As you’d expect, the main items are also for pampering, with hair accessories, bath mat and towels, but there’s also lots of plush, pouches and stationery.

Rilakkuma doesn’t get a full theme but there’s still lots of new things, like a small hand-drawn collection, Chupa Chups collab, Kogumachan’s 10th anniversary, useful travel accessories and some emoji plush pins.
How to buy San-X
All the products for February are in the San-X shop now. Almost everything listed is available to buy now, with some things coming soon, but you’ll need to use a forwarding service outside Japan. Otherwise you need to keep an eye on official resellers, who may also have items that are already sold out at San-X. AmiAmi (JP) does pre-orders before release, Kawaii Republic (JP) and Meccha Japan (JP) do both pre-order and in stock items, while Very Goods (JP) usually add most items within a few days or weeks. International shops can take longer, from weeks to many months – we recommend Cuteness (EU – also do preorders), ARTBOX (UK) and Oshoppu (UK). Use our guide to The Best Kawaii Shops Worldwide for more options. US fans also now have an official San-X store on Amazon, mostly with products made for the US market.
