- Japan is currently going sticker-crazy and SoraNews24 have had some fun posts from their Japanese staff, like this report from the Sticker Festival in Osaka with a lottery application, 10 minute timed entry and shopping limits. The stickers are incredible though.
- If you’re heading to Japan this spring, take some time to relax with Rilakkuma at Ofuro Café. There’s multiple branches across Japan where you can enjoy the onsen and sauna and then try the cute meals and drinks. Rilakkuma superfans can combine with a stay in the Rilakkuma room at Hotel Mahoroba Mines Miura in Tokyo.
- Tokyo Weekender has a useful guide for 10 Go-To Shops for Japanese Homeware so you can bring back some souvenirs to upgrade your space.
- Cakes with Faces’ guide to Pop-up Theme Cafes in Japan has been updated with lots of fun themes including BT21, Sonic and One Piece.
- US Sanrio fans need to head to their nearest Kura Sushi restaurant as there’s a Hello Kitty & Friends collab. The food is not actually character-themed but the merch is very cute.
- The Make Arcade has started The Mini Stitch Project, sharing one FREE mini cross stitch pattern every week this year. There’s 5 designs to download already including cats and valentines.
- Aubryjoi has created a new book tracker printable colouring page for 2026, this time with a Long Cat design. There’s printable Valentines too and they’re both only a few dollars, or you can become a member to get everything for free.
- I’m enjoying Little Guy Mart on tumblr, which shares current eBay listings for some of the cutest and saddest-looking plush and toys. Try not to adopt them all! There’s also a great guide for how to find long-lost huggable friends.
- Pochacco is Friend of the Month at Sanrio – download your free printable calendar and look out for some special content on their YouTube and socials.
- New to our blog or not checked in for a while? The Best of Super Cute Kawaii is updated every month and collects our top posts including the most popular, our own favourites and original guides & DIYs.
- I also updated Our Favourite Kawaii Websites.
The world’s first Pokémon theme park, PokéPark Kanto, opened last week and I’m sure there will be loads of videos from visitors soon. In the meantime, NipponTV got early access for a look around and it all looks incredible.
