Digital gifts are great if you need something at the last minute – or for a very picky friend – but it can be hard to make them look cute under the tree. I’ve found some DIY gift boxes and envelopes to help you out, plus some ideas for fun gifts that don’t require shipping or leaving the house!
This never-ending card by Art IDEA would be a super cute and hilarious way to share a surprise gift. Let them keep opening up different drawings teasing the gift and announce it in the last one. If you can’t draw, you could decorate with clip art or stickers instead.
Or really make them work for their gift by figuring out the code to unlock it! This secret code cylinder by aPasos Crafts DIY may look difficult but it’s actually pretty simple and includes templates.
Paper Kawaii has whole playlists of origami envelopes and gift boxes to choose from. I like this envelope box that’s a bit of both.
This printable rainbow unicorn box by Paper Glitter will really get their hopes up for a super kawaii gift. For extra fun, print their gift on a really tiny piece of paper inside or turn it into a lucky dip with confetti or packing peanuts.
I also love these printable gingerbread house gift boxes by Happythought. You could hide your gift in a pile of holiday candy.
