I don’t have a green thumb, but I have had some success growing things from seeds. I’ve been looking around for some cute pots that I can grow things in and also keep my kitchen looking kawaii!

I spotted these super-adorable animal plant pots on Tumblr, which turned out to be re-used Lovely Mix Mini Pet hand cream pots! Buy the hand cream in 4 cute animal designs from Amazon or Korean beauty sites, use the cream and then pick up some seeds from your local garden centre! I might have to do this.

These self-watering animal planters have been on my wish list for ages. You just put them on the edge of any glass of water and they’ll draw up water through their tails! Perfect for office desks too.

As previously noted, I have a bit of a thing for hedgehogs so I love this planter by SK.HappyShopping on Etsy. They have bunnies, cats and milk pails too!

If you’re more of a dog person, how about Pepe, a sweet handmade planter by Noe Marin.

And finally, how amazing are these crocheted plant pot covers? They were made by Lisenn Cabane – no pattern unfortunately, but maybe you crocheters can figure out how to make something similar.

September 23, 2014 at 1:19 amAs it turns out I kill off every plant except for succulents. Thankfully, succulents always look good in pots like these. I think I might just treat myself to the pink hedgehog… I love it<3
