We were in the Netherlands for a few days recently and top of our shopping itinerary was HEMA, an affordable lifestyle department store that sells lots of fun stuff including an exclusive collection with Miffy (Nijntje in Dutch). I have to show you some of the cutest items, and what I bought myself.
The tech products had me most excited – look at that keyboard! – and I would love to have a whole Miffy-themed home office. There’s all kinds of useful items like a Bluetooth tracker, powerbank and charger, cases for Airpods and laptops, and even a disposable camera!
I’ve been looking for a new phone holder and snapped up this one. Despite the cheap price, it’s very well made and so cute and you can adjust it to all different angles, to help you hold it more securely or prop it up.
You could also set yourself up with a Miffy kitchen as there’s lots of kitchenware. The new Easter collection includes a pastel set of unbreakable cups, bowls and plates and there’s also ceramic mugs, cups, teapot and more. If you love to bake, there’s products to help you can make Miffy cookies, cakes, chocolates and poffertjes (mini pancakes).
I picked up a couple of ceramic plates for my overflowing kitchen cupboard – a side plate and mini snack plate.
The bags are also super cute and practical with lots of pockets. The Miffy face backpack on the left is such a fun design and there’s also tote bags, pouches and even suitcases.
And there’s loads more too – stationery, craft supplies, party decorations, accessories and a whole babies/kids clothing collection.
