TokyoTreat & Sakuraco create monthly snack boxes to let you experience Japan from the comfort of your own home with seasonal and limited edition snacks and drinks. We’ve teamed up with them to show you what’s inside so here’s a look at the current Valentine’s Day boxes which are available now – look out for a special discount below!

TokyoTreat – Sweet Valentines
Share the love this Valentine’s season with TokyoTreat! It’s a fun and exclusive Japanese snack subscription box filled with limited-edition KitKats, specialty-flavored Japanese chips, seasonal treats, and occasional Japanese sodas that are only available in Japan for a limited time. This month there are 14 different sweet and savoury items, including a full size bag of KitKats, drink and instant noodles, plus a colour booklet. 3 items aren’t suitable for vegetarians.
Emma’s Favourites
- Kit Kat Red & White – a great combination of white and milk chocolate that’s a little richer than normal and not overly sweet. I also enjoyed the messages of support printed on the front of each bar!
- PokéHearts Ramune Candy – they have the CUTEST Pokémon designs etched onto each of the heart shaped sweets, including Pikachu, Piplup and Rowlet.
- Soy Sauce Senbei – Perfectly crunchy rice crackers with a delicious, slightly sweet soy sauce flavour.
- Tanuki Ramen Noodles – I don’t do well with spice, but these noodles were so yummy that I managed half before I had to call it quits!
- Setsubun Peanuts – a delicious crunchy snack – both salty and a little sweet.

Sakuraco – Valentine’s Delights
Celebrate love and connection with Sakuraco this Valentine’s season! Each monthly box contains 20 traditional, authentic, and artisan Japanese snacks from local snack makers across Japan, including Japanese teas and a special Japanese tableware item. For this month’s box, there’s Caramel Hojicha tea and a plum furoshiki wrapping cloth. Only 1 item is not vegetarian (shrimp rice crackers).
Marceline’s Favourites
- Pudding Baumkuchen – lovely layered sponge cake with a caramel pudding flavour that isn’t too sweet. I wished there was more!
- Chocolate Kuzumochi – almost jelly-like wobbly chocolate pudding with extra chocolate sauce.
- Ume Shiso Senbei – crunchy rice crackers with a plum & shiso flavour – very different!
- Chocolate Karinto – a chocolately version of the popular fried dough snacks.
- Caramel Hojicha Tea – you can really taste the caramel for a sweeter take on green tea.
