If you’re looking for a new project to celebrate Pride Month, I’ve searched up some kawaii craft patterns and DIYs including cross stitch, crochet, recipes, printables and supplies.
ZahraDesignStudio has lots of cute Pride-themed cross stitch patterns including flags, slogans, rainbows and cats. There’s also 30% off all patterns during June.
XCrossStitchPatternX also has some lovely nature-themed Pride designs for cross stitch with animal couples including cats, dogs and frogs.
This free crochet pattern for Pride Flag Hearts by Grace Grommes on Ravelry looks like a quick project and you can turn the finished hearts into a brooch, keychain or even a garland.
The Mary Jay has shared an update for their turtle crochet pattern so you can turn them into Crochet Pride Turtles! There’s instructions for all the main Pride flags plus both the update and original pattern are free and suitable for beginners.
Feel like doing some baking? The Graceful Baker shows you how to make Pride Flag cookies. You could use any recipe or cutter you like or even decorate shop-bought cookies.
Or pankobunny has a recipe for Pride Flag Cupcakes with 12 different flags. I love the look of the swirled icing and decorations but the cupcakes themselves are also layered in flag colours – so impressive! Again, you can use any cupcake recipe or box mix, make it easier by skipping the colouring or decorate shop-bought cupcakes.

Yume Moon Studio (EU) has updated their Pride flag washi tape collection and there’s now 16 different flags to choose from, all with holographic foil details. This has so many uses, especially for journaling. I have their pastel rainbow washi tape and it’s great quality.

If you’ve got a sewing project in mind, there’s thousands of Pride designs available at Spoonflower (US), which you can have printed on all kinds of fabric for crafts, dressmaking or interiors. Since it’s print-on-demand, designers can offer multiple options with all the different flags so definitely try your own search terms.
