If you’re anywhere near London this weekend, you won’t want to miss the Hyper Japan Christmas event!
It’s a pretty good mini substitute for a trip to actual Japan as you can try Japanese food and drinks, watch bands and performers, see some anime and films, get crafty at the workshops and, of course, do some shopping. There’s a big mix of things from the kawaii to the traditional so you’re sure to find lots to enjoy. Have a read of our previous Hyper Japan posts for why you should visit.
Nicolette will be covering the event over the weekend so check our Instagram for live updates. Here’s what she’s looking forward to:
“I want to meet Gloomy Bear! I would also like to see some of the anime shorts as there’s one by Makoto Shinkai who directed Your Name. I’ll probably check out a couple of the bands: Banzai Japan look fun! If I have time, I may do the origami workshop as you can make Ghibli characters.”
You can buy Hyper Japan Christmas tickets now with the event taking place from Friday afternoon to Sunday evening. Who’s going to be there?
