Sumikko Gurashi Bento

Sumikko Gurashi are probably my favourite kawaii characters at the moment and their new bento theme is just about the cutest thing ever. Just watch the video!

I love the new tako wiener / hot dog octopus and onigiri characters and luckily they appear on quite a few of the new products.

My number one NEED are these little coin pouches. The onigiri one even has a sad little tako printed inside.

There’s also this amazing plush set that you can arrange any way you like.

Or a frying pan ready to hold your collection of tiny Sumikko plushies. I only own three so far so that’s a life goal.

I wish I was visiting Japan this month so I could grab this limited edition large Tako plush at Loft!

The bento range has just been released in Japan so it will take a while to filter through to UK & US-based online stores. If you can’t wait, some items are on eBay and Amazon Global or you could also use a shopping service to order direct from San-X.
