You might remember we recently hosted a giveaway with Super Cute Box and they sent over one of the April boxes for me to have a look at, plus a 20% discount code for SCK readers. Let’s unpack all the cuteness!
The box has had a little redesign since the last time we reviewed one (back in July 2015) with a colourful sticker to get you excited about opening it. Super Cute Box is a great option for anyone who has trouble receiving parcels as they cram everything into very shallow box that should fit through any letterbox.
It’s also cute inside with pink tissue paper, sticker and a postcard with details of all the items included in the box. April’s theme is Sweet so there are lots of cute candy treats.
Here’s what I found inside: fabric drawstring bag, cookie keyring, doughnut squishy charm, memo board, lollipop eraser, panda cookie cutters and a bunny gift bag!
The exclusive item in this month’s box is a handmade cookie keyring by Keep It Sweet. It looks quite realistic and is good quality with a sturdy chain for your keys or to hang on a bag.
My favourite item is probably these adorable panda cookie cutters. You use the cutters on chocolate and plain dough to build a layered kawaii panda cookie. It’s a really good idea to include one of these as I wouldn’t buy a whole set for myself, but will enjoy trying it out.
I also loved the little bunny gift bag. It’s so cute and you tie its ears up to close.
More bunnies on the drawstring bag, which also features ice lollies. It’s a nice little size for carrying small things in your bag so they don’t get lost.
The memo notepad stands upright so is perfect for your desk as it won’t get lost under the piles of other notebooks you’re using (or is that just me?). It might even inspire you to join this happy pig in some exercising.
Completing the sweets theme is a squishy doughnut charm and a lollipop that’s actually an eraser! Regular subscribers also get a charm bracelet with their first box plus a free themed charm in every box.
Overall, I was pleased with the contents as there’s a good mix of things and nothing that feels like filler. I especially like that you get an exclusive item from an indie designer/maker so your purchase supports small companies as well as big ones.
