November 2014 Kawaii Box Review

I received November’s Kawaii Box in the post to give you an idea of what you can find inside. If you’ve been living on Mars, Kawaii Box is a subscription service and every month you’ll get a box of cute hand-picked Japanese and Korean products through your letterbox. If you love cute things, it’s a great way to add to your collection and get some surprise post too!

As always, everything arrived in great condition, all packed into a sturdy box. It really is quite exciting unpacking everything to see what you’ve got.

Here’s what I found inside: socks, accessories, keyrings, plush, stationery, stickers, deco tape and Pocky! Each month’s box has different things, but since Kawaii Box is run by Blippo, if you see something you like that was in a previous Kawaii Box, you can probably pick it up there.

There was also this desk calendar, which I immediately put out on display. It’s sheep-shaped and stands up by itself, and every month has a different cute expression. Best of all, the calendar starts in November, so you can use it right away.

Here are my other favourite picks. The My Melody socks are super kawaii and I will definitely be wearing them. The Pony Brown sticky notes have a cute design and are a great size for marking up recipes or for short notes in parcels to friends. I wasn’t initially that excited about the macaron charm, until I realised you can unscrew it and put little things inside – pretty cool! And that plush cat keyring is going on my bag – it’s a great purple colour with a sturdy clip and keyring. I was impressed with the selection this month as there are only a couple of things that I won’t use myself.

Twinkie Chan reviewed this box recently too, and I thought it was really cool that we got the same items but in different colours and designs, so even if you and your friends all get one, they won’t be exactly the same.
