Box of Delights

Panda-san and myself have been busy making stuff for Box of Delights, an awesome exhibition of Asian-inspired art and crafts here in Glasgow. It opens at this weekend with a special two day event with drinks, snacks and a 10% discount on everything in the exhibition! It runs til the 23rd December but if you’re not in Glasgow you can still buy online from some of the exhibitors. Let’s have a look at the cuteness.

Dragon House of Yuen makes amazing bunny bags out of kimono fabrics. Aren’t they sweet?

More bunnies from Kuro-E, who also makes intricated embroidery pieces. I’m not sure I will make it to the end of the exhibition without buying one of these bunnies.

The Curious Swift has a lovely selection of Japanese fabric purses and brooches in the exhibition but she also makes spooky cute silver jewellery.

These cute felt ‘Etsuko’ finger puppets by jiji~punch are sure to provide plenty entertainment when things get boring.

And a little bit of self-promotion! Panda-san aka Miso Funky has some kawaii robot samplers in the exhibition.

And I (Asking For Trouble) have made some super cute felt flower brooches with Japanese fabric buttons. Yay!

There’s more info on the exhibition right here and below is the poster.
